If you know what you would like to own without any further free assistance from the artist, Edward McNaught-Davis, then e-mail Edward quoting the name of the fine art picture or cartoon that you would like to buy and the method of payment (see below) you would prefer. Edward will then confirm that the picture is in stock and he will calculate the correct shipping/mailing costs; he will then either send you a PayPal link by e-mail or ask you to post him your remittance for you to make the purchase. As soon as your payment has cleared through the British Banking System, your picture will be dispatched to you by secure shipment.

Professional Print Productions are handled off site by Image Kind in Seattle, Washington State, USA. Specific details on the quality prints offered by Edward McNaught-Davis through Image Kind are available here. If you purchase one or more of Edward McNaught-Davis' prints through Image Kind then you are subject to the Terms and Conditions of Image Kind and not the terms and conditions of Inspirational Art4u or Edward McNaught-Davis.

Image Kind will allow you to specify the size of print you require from a menu of sizes available. You will also be able to choose the type of finish required including various options on mounting (or matting), framing and glazing or you may simply accept the default proposed for the particular print you are interested in purchasing. Similarly, you may just buy the print without a mount/mat or frame.

All prices at Image Kind are expressed in US Dollars. Image Kind will arrange all shipping for any prints bought through them.

Limited Edition Reproductions

From time-to-time Edward McNaught-Davis sells his own HAND CONTROLLED Limited Edition Reproduction Prints that are also known as Glicees. Each limited edition reproduction is printed by computerised digital means upon high quality paper of substantial weight and is 100% acid free. The printing inks used have an exceptionally good archival value. This means the reproduction will last for years if it is framed under glass and it is suitably hung inside a building under normal lighting (lux) and under normal dry air living conditions.

All Limited Edition reproduction prints are signed and numbered by Edward McNaught-Davis, the artist. A certificate of authentication accompanies each limited edition reproduction print.

If offered for sale, Artist’s Proofs will be numbered in Roman Numerals (which is the traditional practice) and will be signed by Edward McNaught-Davis, the artist.

Commissions

Edward McNaught-Davis is always willing to discuss your bespoke requirements and will be happy to supply you with a written quote by e-mail. Prices will be held for a minimum of 30 days allowing you a reasonable period of time to make up your mind on whether to proceed. In all cases, a non refundable deposit (in the event of a cancellation) of 60% of the total purchase price will be required prior to commencing with your commission. The balance of 40% payment will be required prior to dispatch of the painting. Please see the page specifically for Commissions.

Mounts/Mats, Glass and Frames

All pictures shown on this web site are sold without having been mounted/matted, glazed or framed (canvases are stretched onto a backing frame and primed prior to any painting on them). This helps to reduce the shipping costs. Mounting and framing pictures is considered a personal choice of the buyer.

Methods of Payment

The following methods of payment are acceptable for purchasing original works or limited edition reproduction prints (Glicees) direct from Inspirational Art4u (http://www.inspirationalart4u.biz) or Edward McNaught-Davis:

Credit Card or Charge Card via PayPal (Currencies accepted are Great Britain Pounds, Euros, US Dollars, Canadian Dollars, Australian Dollars and Japanese Yen).

Personal or Business cheques drawn on an United Kingdom Bank or Building Society.

Bankers Draft drawn on an United Kingdom Clearing Bank.

British Postal Order

Purchases through our suppliers such as Image Kind are subject to their terms and conditions and not ours.

Receipts

If paying by PayPal a receipt will automatically be produced by the PayPal system and delivered to you by e-mail. For all other payment methods a Receipt of Purchase will be sent by e-mail from Inspirational Art4u on email request and after your purchase has been shipped.

Shipping/Mailing

For protection during shipping, all original artwork or limited edition reproduction print (Glicee) is securely contained within water resistant packaging and is then addressed with both the buyer’s and Inspirational Art4u’s (the seller’s) address, stamped with the correct postage and insured accordingly.

For overseas customers and where appropriate a Customs Declaration will be attached to the package.

The Royal Mail is used for delivery. The “on-line” Royal Mail Tracking System is used to track the whereabouts of items dispatched by Inspirational Art4u.

Deliveries

Please allow up to 5 working days for delivery to anywhere with the UK only. For overseas deliveries please allow up to 21 days.

Returns for Limited Edition Reproductions (Glicees) only

Refunds will be given if your purchase from Inspirational Art4u is not satisfactory to you and it is returned in the same condition as shipped within seven days of receipt. Refunds cannot be given if your purchase is damaged by any means and not limited to finger prints, however slight, moisture or dirt smudges, tears, creases etc., Any returns must include your purchase and its original packaging (plus the certificate of authenticity in the case of a limited edition reproduction print or glicee). Shipping, postal, insurance and bank charges will not be refunded. Similarly any foreign exchange charges, foreign taxes, border fees and foreign exchange controls and commissions are not refundable.
