The majority of the paintings by Edward McNaught-Davis shown on this web page fall under the category of acrylic paintings personal exhibits although two pictures are actually painted in pure Artist’s watercolour. “Llanina Bridge” shows a stream cutting through a bluebell wood. The picture called, “Stream at Llanina” is the same composition but painted from the bridge seen in the first painting and during the early Summer months as opposed to late Spring. “Tregaron Bog” is really known to the local Welsh people as Cors Carron; it is believed to be Europe’s oldest natural peat bog. The “River below CAT” is the water scene just below the Centre for Alternative Technology near Aberystwyth, West Wales. “Lake Kilarney” is situated at Muckdross in Eire (South West Ireland). It is part of “The Ring of Kerry”.
