These famous paintings by Edward McNaught-Davis could easily be made into framed seascape art. The sunset beach view painting entitled, “Interference” is a scene near St. Davids on the Pembrokeshire, West Wales coastline. Special acrylic paints were used to achieve its shimmering colours. The pastel painting called, “Pembs Coastline” was shown on British Television. “Marloes Sands” is a beautiful beach hidden away and totally unspoiled on the Pembrokeshire coastline too. Edward McNaught-Davis captured this scene in watercolours on an early Summer’s day. The oil pastel painting entitled “Rough Pembrokeshire Seas” is an unusual sunset beach painting as the sunset has been diffused by the sea mist. Edward believes that there is “something” about the sea which helps to reduce your everyday stress. With a little imagination Edward thinks you will possibly hear the tide coming in or going out together with the noise of rippling stones and crashing waves. All these natural noises help to produce a calming effect in your mind thus delimiting your mental stressors. For other water scenes see Rivers and Streams, Waterfalls, What’s New or Sunsets on this web site. Alternatively, you could commission Edward McNaught-Davis to paint your favourite marine scene.
